In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil just above $80.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.06 per gallon.

Natural gas up to $6.40 per unit.

Gold pulling back just a bit to $733.00 per ounce.

Consumer sentiment for the month of September to be released today.

Existing home sales for the month of August set for release this morning.

Target cutting forcast for September same store sales.

Microsoft Corp. reportedly looking to invest up to $500 million in Facebook. The company will also be releasing highly anticipated Halo 3 today.

BP Plc. CEO stating third quarter revenues will be "dreadful".

United Autoworkers enter second day of strike. It is being reported that each day it cost General Motors $100 million.
