Morning News

Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.

European markets are trading lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil holding at $76.40 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $1.97 per gallon.

Natural gas just above $5.50 per unit.

Gold busting out to $707.00 per ounce.

Monthly jobs report will be released at 8:30 this morning.

Wholesale inventories for the month of July will be released at 10:00 this morning.

Alan Greenspan believes current market is like 1987 and 1998.

Harley Davidson cutting shipment targets, and also offering a profit warning.

Hovnanian reports a 27% drop in revenue.

Lehman Brothers restructuring mortgage division and will cut 850 jobs.

Apple Inc. not only slashing the price of the iPhone but the company will issue a $100.00 credit for any person who bought the phone at original price.
