European markets are trading higher.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did gain ground.

Crude oil back above $71.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline has moved up to $1.96 per gallon.

Natural gas down to $5.20 per unit.

Gold is sitting at $676.00 per ounce.

Existing home sales for the month of July will be out at 10:00 this morning.

U.S. Steel to buy Stelco Inc. for $1.04 billion.

Gateway Inc. to be bought by Acer for $710 million.

Home Depot will sell its wholesale supply unit for a discounted price of $8.5 billion.

Sony Corp. developing a battery that will run on sugar. The casing for the battery will be made of a vegetable plastic.

Dunkin Donuts latest chain to announce they will cut trans fat from there menu.
