Traders will also be greeted by jobless claims, industrial production, and the Philly Fed Survey on this hotly anticipated earnings session.

Stocks continued surging higher midweek on strong earnings and positive comments from Ben Bernanke. Reports indicating retail showing improvement and inflation being muted added to the bullish stew.
