7 Stocks you need to know for Thursday

Earnings releases are heating up on the second to final trading day of the week. Jobless claims, chain store sales and money supply figures will round out the trading session. Stocks were slammed lower on Wednesday triggered by a sharply worse than expected consumer credit reading. Led lower by Caterpillar and American Express, the DJIA gave back 72.47, the Nasdaq fell 5.65 and the broad based S&P 500 dipped 6.99.
