7 Stocks you need to know for Tuesday

The Dow lost 82.35. The Nasdaq Composite ended the day down 7.35. And the S&P 500 finished lower by 8.35.

Here are 7 Stocks You Need to Know for Tuesday.

Reporting quarterly earnings on Tuesday before the market opens is Wal-Mart (WMT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), which is expected to announce EPS of 99 cents.

Also announcing earnings Tuesday morning is Transocean Inc. (RIG | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating). The drilling and exploration company is expected to report earnings per share of 3.70.

JP Morgan Chase & Company (JPM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and Citigroup (C | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) announced that they would be suspending home foreclosures until March. The deal was part of a pledge the firms made to Congress.

A number of financial media outlets including Bloomberg Television reported that Bank of America (BAC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) will be separating its corporate banking operations from its investment banking business. The report was made late in the trading day on Friday.
