Morning News

Futures are pointing to a much lower open this morning.

European markets are trading lower so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did close lower.

Crude oil is just under $110.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.71 per gallon.

Natural gas is sitting at $10.01 per unit.

Gold is currently $993.00 per ounce.

Retail sales data will be released today.

Import prices for the month of February will be released.

Weekly jobless claims will also be released today.

Energy Dept. will release natural gas inventory levels this morning.

Yesterday's action had the Dow losing 46 points, the Nasdaq lost 11 points, and the S&P closed 11 points lower.

Dollar at levels against the Yen it hasn't seen since 1995.

President Bush stating we are in tough times, but not a recession.

Foreclosures up 60% from the same time period one year ago.

Carlyle Capitol reportedly ready for lenders to take over assets after failing to reach a deal with financers.
