Morning News

Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.

European markets are trading lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil is $98.67 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.55 per gallon.

Natural gas is sitting at $9.11 per unit.

Gold hanging in at $926 per ounce.

CPI data set for release at 8:30 this morning.

Housing starts and building permit numbers set for release today.

This afternoon the Fed will release minutes from latest meeting.

Yesterday's action had the Dow close 10 points lower, the Nasdaq gave back 15 points, and the S&P lost 1 point.

Obama, and McCain take yesterday's primaries.

Hewlett Packard out with better than expected number, and the companies forecast for current quarter better than expectations.

Yahoo to add severance package for employees in case of merger.

Crocs Inc. reports good quarter, but 2008 outlook below the street's expectations.
