Morning News

Futures are pointing to a huge sell off here in the United States today.

European markets are trading lower again so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 has taken a beating over the past two trading days.

Recession fears here in the United States send futures tumbling as world markets sell off over the past two days.

Crude oil has pulled back to $87.72 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.23 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.78 per unit.

Henry Paulson to deliver a speech this morning.

Yahoo Inc. will reportedly cut hundreds of jobs.

Apple Inc, Johnson & Johnson, and Bank of America just a few of the companies set to report quarterly results today.

A report is out that Delta will announce a deal with NorthWest as early as this week.

Bank of Japan leaves key interest rate unchanged.

In sports it will be the New York Giants playing the New England Patriots in Arizona for the championship Feb. 3rd.
