Morning News

Futures are pointing to a higher open at this point in the morning.

European markets are trading higher today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is back up to $96.20 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is sitting at $2.45 per gallon.

Natural gas is just below $8.00 per unit.

Gold making a move higher to $877.00 per ounce.

Yesterday's action saw the Dow end 27 points higher, the Nasdaq lost 5 points, and the S&P finished just over 4 points higher.

November pending home sales numbers will be released at 10:00 this morning.

Microsoft will reportedly pay $1.2 billion for Fast Search & Transfer.

KB Home will be out with quarterly results today.

Ford to increase spending in India by $500 million.

Apple Inc. reportedly will settle European iTunes complaint.

In sports last night LSU defeated Ohio State for the National Championship 38-24.
