Futures are pointing to a higher open this morning.

European markets are trading higher here this morning.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is $91.16 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.34 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.12 per unit.

Gold is $808.00 per ounce.

November personal income numbers will be out at 8:30 this morning.

Consumer spending for the month of November will be out at 8:30 this morning.

Core PCE price index will also be released.

Poll on consumer sentiment for the month of December will be released at 10:00 this am.

Yesterday's action saw the Dow gain 38 points, the Nasdaq strong with a 39 point gain, and the S&P 7 points higher.

Today is option expiration day.

Research In Motion earnings more than double for the quarter topping expectations.

Merrill Lynch in talks to get $5 billion cash injection from Tamasek.

Phillips Electronics to buy Respironics for $5.2 billion.
