Morning News

Futures are pointing to a higher open this morning.

European markets are trading to the upside so far today.

In Asia most markets traded higher, but in Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil is $91.60 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.35 per gallon.

Natural gas is back above $7.00 per unit.

Gold back up to $802.00 per ounce.

November housing starts will be released at 8:30 this morning.

Yesterday's action saw the Dow give back 172 points, the Nasadaq lost 61 points, and the S&P gave up 22 points.

Federal Reserve to unveil plan today which would help protect people from risky mortgage lending practices.

Goldman Sachs will be releasing quarterly results today.

Adobe Systems reports a 21% rise in profit, and tops 2008 earnings estimates.
