Morning News

Futures are pointing to a higher open this morning.

European markets are trading higher so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is $85.91 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.18 per gallon.

Natural gas is sitting at $7.26 per unit.

Gold is slipping current price is $791.00 per ounce.

Weekly jobless claims will be released at 8:30 this morning.

Energy Dept. will release natural gas inventory numbers today at 10:30.

Yesterday's action saw the dow end 196 points higher, the Nasdaq finished 46 points higher, and the S&P was up 22 points.

Bank of England has cut key interest rate by a quarter point.
