Morning News

Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.

European markets are trading flat to slightly higher so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil back up to $94.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.33 per gallon.

Natural gas holding at $7.57 per unit.

Gold is $805.00 per ounce.

Weekly jobless claims will be released at 8:30 this morning.

Third quarter GDP will be out at 8:30 as well.

New home sales for the month of October will be released at 10:00 this morning.

Natural gas inventories will be released at 10:30 this morning.

Yesterday's action saw the Dow gain 331 points, the Nasdaq added 82 points, and the S&P was up 40 points.

Oil is spiking after expolsion and fire at a pipeline in Minnesota which brings oil from Canada to the U.S.

Sears Holding Corp. third quarter results come in well below expectations.

Citadel Investment Group to lift its stake in E Trade Financial to nearly 20%.

Home forclosures for the month of October up 2% from the month of September.
