Morning News

Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.

European markets are trading lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did take a loss.

Crude oil is $93.65 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.35 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.81 per unit.

Gold is just above $800.00 per ounce.

October Consumer Price Index will be out at 8:30 this morning.

Philly Fed Survey will be out at noon today.

Yesterday's action saw the Dow give back 76 points, the Nasdaq losing 29 points, and the S&P off 10 points.

Barclays writing off $2.7 billion related to credit trouble.

Delta CEO saying no merger plan with UAL.

John Thain will be the next CEO at Merrill Lynch.
