Morning News

Futures are pointing to a higher open this morning.

European markets are trading lower so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower again.

Crude oil is just below $94.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.39 per gallon.

Natural gas is just above $8.00 per ounce.

Gold pulled back big yesterday to $806.00 per ounce.

Pending home sales for the month of September will be released today.

Yesterday's action saw the Dow giving back 55 points, the Nasdaq losing 43 points and the S&P slipping 15 points.

Bank of Japan leaves interest rates unchanged.

Saudi oil minister reportedly stating no oil output hike expected.

Wal-Mart profit up 8% with quarterly sales of $91.95 billion beating the street.

Home Depot reports a 27% drop in profit, and cuts guidance on weak housing market.
