Morning News

Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly higher open.

European markets are mixed so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 got smacked.

Crude oil is $95.48 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.44 per gallon.

Gold is $818.00 per ounce.

Friday's action saw the Dow drop 223 points, the Nasdaq gave back 68 points, and the S&P losing 21 points.

Bond markets, and the trading pits on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange are closed today.

ETrade Financial reportedly expects more write downs.

Google faces patent infringement lawsuit filed by Northeastern University.

Airbus locking in more orders than Boeing at the Dubai Air Show.

Honeywell and AirTrains sign maintenance deal.
