Morning News

Futures are pointing to a much lower open this morning.

European markets are trading lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 was down.

Crude oil is still going higher current price is $97.80 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline trying to catch up at $2.45 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.82 per unit.

Gold all the way up to $841.00 per ounce.

Third quarter productivity numbers will be released at 8:30 this morning.

September wholesale inventories will be released at 10:00 this morning.

Energy Dept. will release weekly oil inventory levels at 10:30 this morning.

Philly Fed President Charles Plosser reportedly not supportive of further rate cuts at this time.

General Motors out with terrible quarterly results. The company also announcing it will take a charge of $39 billion.

Toyota out with strong quarterly results and lifts forcast.

Google to offer driving directions at gas stations across the country.

Cisco Systems will be out with quarterly results today.

TomTom outbids Garmin for Tele Atlis.
