Morning News

Futures are pointing to a higher open this morning.

European markets are trading higher so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end the day higher.

Crude oil has pulled bake to just above $90.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.26 per gallon.

Natural gas remains above $8.00 per unit.

Gold is currently $786.00 per ounce.

Third quarter GDP report will be out at 8:30 this morning.

Construction spending for the month of September will be released at 10:00 this morning.

The Energy Dept. will release weekly oil inventory levels at 10:30 this morning.

The Fed will wrap up two days of meetings today with an announcement on interest rates due out at 2:15 today.

Alcatel Lucent reportedly will cut as many as 4,000 more jobs.

Verizon is reportedly in talks with Google about a highly anticipated phone Google has plans for.

Earthquake shakes California no major damage reported.
