Morning News

Futures are pointing to a higher open this morning.

European markets are trading slightly higher.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil is sitting at $87.39 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.17 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.35 per unit.

Gold is currently $763.00 per ounce.

Consumer price index for the month of September will be released before the open this morning.

September housing starts will be released at 8:30 this morning.

Weekly oil inventory levels will be out at 10:30 this morning.

Intel Corp. beating expectations with a 43% jump in quarterly profit.

J.P Morgan, Altria, and Coca Cola will all be out with earnings before the bell.

Walt Disney to spend $1.1 billion in its California theme park over the next few yaers.

Mortgage applications rise for the second straight week.
