Morning News

Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.

European markets are trading lower so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did lose ground.

Crude oil spiking to new highs at $87.54 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.18 per gallon.

Natural gas up to $7.47 per unit.

Gold futures trading at levels it hasn't seen since 1980 $765.00 per ounce.

September industrial production numbers will be released at 9:15 this morning.

October home builders index will be released this afternoon.

Ben Bernanke speaking last night stating housing market will most likely effect economic growth.

Intel Corp, Wells Fargo, International Business Machines, and Yahoo Inc. will all be out with earnings today.

Genentech Inc. beat by a penny, but quarterly revenue came in below Wall Street's expectations.
