Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly lower open this morning.

European markets are trading higher so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is sitting above $80.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is just under $2.00 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.47 per unit.

Gold pulled back yesterday to $737.00 per ounce.

September ISM Services reading will be released at 10:00 this morning.

Energy Dept. will release weekly oil inventory levels at 10:30 this morning.

Deutsche Bank reportedly will take $3.1 billion in charges due to credit problems.

Credit Suisse to cut 170 investment banking jobs.

Mortgage applications fall again over the past week.

Verizon Wireless unveils new cell phone called Voyager to compete with Apple's iPhone.

Microsoft to release three new models of media players including the Zume.

Ford and Toyota September sales dip while General Motors saw a rise.
