Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.

European markets are trading lower so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did lose ground.

Crude oil back to $82.77 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.07 per unit.

Natural gas is sitting just above $7.00 per unit.

Gold back up to $744.00 per ounce.

August personal income to be released at 8:30 this morning.

Consumer spending for the month of August will also be released at 8:30 this am.

Chicago PMI for the month of September will be out at 9:45 this morning.

Construction spending for the month of August set for release at 10:00 this morning.

Poll on consumer sentiment for the month of September will be out at 10:00 this morning.

President Bush saying he will take action to reduce air traffic congestion, long delays, and grounded planes.

Alan Greenspan speeking on BBC morning radio show stating he believes a less than 50/50 chance of a recession. He remains concerned about the world economy.

Allcatel Lucent board has reportedly given CEO Patricia Russo one month to turn in a restructuring plan.
