Futures are pointing to a higher open at this point this morning.

European markets are trading higher today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil back up to $80.86 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.03 per gallon.

Natural gas sitting right around $7.00 per unit.

Gold is currently $738.00 per ounce.

Weekly jobless claims will be released at 8:30 this morning.

Final reading on second quarter GDP will be released at 8:30 as well.

August new home sales figures will be released at 10:00 this morning.

Natural gas inventories will be out at 10:30 this morning.

Bed Bath & Beyond beats profit forcast and announced it will buyback $1 billion in stock.

Group that was to buy Sallie Mae for $25 billion now wants out.

British Airways to split multibillion dollar deal between Boeing and Airbus.

Bear Stearns is reportedly in talks with many investors.

Halo 3 brings in $170 million in first day.
