Morning News

Futures are pointing to a slightly higher open this morning.

European markets are trading flat to just a bit higher so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did lose a little ground.

Crude oil down just a bit to $76.17 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $1.96 per gallon.

Natural gas $5.31 per unit.

Gold rising to $714.00 per ounce.

The Lundberg survey over the past two weeks shows a rise in gas prices of about 6 cents a gallon.

Dsiney plans to run test on its toys as concerns build over lead paint levels kids are being exposed to.

Countrywide Financial now saying the company may cut up to 12,000 jobs.

Blackstone Group to invest $600 million in China National Bluestar.

OPEC most likely will keep oil flow unchanged at meeting to be held on Tuesday.
