European markets are trading lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did lose ground.

Crude oil is sitting just above $75.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $1.99 per gallon.

Natural Gas is currently $5.58 per unit.

Gold up to $688.00 per ounce.

Fed Beige Book to be released at 2:00 this afternoon.

Yahoo Inc. to buy ad company BlueLithium for 300 million.

Mattel Inc. recalling another set of toys made in China.

Unilever reportedly will cut up to 12,000 jobs.

Merrill Lynch out with a call for metal prices to rise.

General Motors sales rise in the month of August. Both Toyota and Ford saw sales decline.
