Futures are pointing to a slightly lower open this morning.

European markets are trading just a bit lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil is sitting right at $74.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is currently $1.96 per gallon.

Natural gas is $5.28 per unit.

Gold is up to $682.00 per ounce.

Construction spending for the month of July will be released at 10:00 this morning.

ISM index for the month of August set for release at 10:00 as well.

Automakers will be releasing August sales.

Hurricane Felix a category 5 storm continues west in the southern Caribbean.

CEO of Deutsche Bank stating he believes financial markets are stabilizing.

Sony to raise as much as $3 billion in financial unit IPO.
