Morning News

Futures are pointing to a strong open this morning.

European markets are trading higher so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did have a nice pop upward.

Crude oil working its way back above $73.50 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is back up to $2.08 per gallon.

Natural gas is currently $5.72 per unit.

Gold is sitting at $676.00 per ounce.

Personal income figures for the month of July will be released before the open this morning.

Consumer spending for the month of July will be out at 8:30 this morning.

Chicago PMI for the month of August will be released just after the open this morning.

Consumer sentiment poll for the month of August set for release.

July factory orders will be out at 10:00 this morning.

Ben Bernanke will be speaking from Jackson Hole, Wyoming today.

Dell Inc. reports a 46% rise in profit beating all expectations.

Toyota Motor Corp. setting a goal of 10.4 million vehicle sales for 2009.

Apple Inc. will reportedly offer ring tone service through its iTunes.
