Morning News

Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly weaker open this morning.

European markets are trading lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did lose ground.

Crude oil has pulled back to $67.32 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is sitting at $2.24 per gallon.

Natural gas has dropped to $6.81 per unit.

Gold has fallen to $644.00 per ounce.

Durable goods orders for the month of May will be released at 8:30 this morning.

The Energy Dept. will release weekly oil inventory levels at 10:30 this morning.

The Fed will kick off two day meeting today. All expectations call fore no change to interest rates.

Look for some end of the quarter window dressing.

Nike Inc. reporting a 32% profit rise and saw the largest boost in orders in four years.

Oracle Corp. profits beat the street and the company is giving up beat growth forcast.

Citigroup Inc. in talks to buy Automated Trading Desk for around $700 million.

Bank of America has gotten approval to open brokerage firm in Taiwan.
