Morning News

Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly lower open this morning.

European markets are trading higher this morning.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end just a bit higher.

Crude oil is $65.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is currently $2.14 per gallon.

Natural gas sitting at $7.72 per unit.

Gold rebounding just a bit to $656.00 per ounce.

Peru Copper has agreed to a cash offer from Aluminum Corp. of China valued at $840 million.

Apple Inc. reportedly in talks to make new movies available for rent on its i-Tune service.

The Lundberg survey shows a drop of 7 cents a gallon over the past two weeks in gasoline. This is the first drop since January.

Iran's oil minister stating OPEC has no plans to release more oil to the market before the next meeting to be held in September.
