Morning News

Futures are pointing to a weaker open again this morning.

European markets are trading slightly lower today.

Asian markets for the most part did trade higher today.

Black Friday numbers show a strong start to the season. Numbers came in about 6% higher than one year ago.

Banc of America signs a five year deal to be the official bank of Nascar.

Wal-Mart Stores reporting same store sales for November fell for the first time since 1996.

Lowe's Companies upgraded this morning at Banc of America to a buy from nuetral.

Affiliated Computer Services Inc. saying Chief Executive and President Mark King, and Chief Financial Officer Warren Edwards have resigned over stock option practices.

OPEC continues to talk about further cuts in production.

Crude oil is currently $59.82 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $1.58 per gallon.

Natural gas is just under $8.00 per unit.

Gold is just below $640.00 per ounce.
