Morning News

Futures are currently pointing to a slightly higher open.

Consumer price index for October will be released at 8:30 this morning.

Weekly jobless claims will also be released before the open.

Industrial production for October will be released at 9:15 this morning.

Philidelphia fed survey will be released at the lunch hour today.

Energy Dept. will release natural gas inventories at 10:30 this morning.

European markets are trading pretty flat so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did lose ground.

Dell Inc. has delayed results for the quarter due to SEC probe into accounting issues.

Wal-Mart has expanded its generic drug program by 11 more states. The discounts are now available in a total of 38 states. A total of 331 drugs are available at discount prices.

OPEC president reportedly stating that the group may once again cut output further.

Crude oil back above $59.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is up to $1.58 per gallon.

Natural gas has made its way up to $8.19 per unit.

Gold is back up to $627.00 per ounce.
