Federal Open Market Committee ends two day meeting today. Interest rates are expected to remain unchanged.

Existing home sales for September will be released this morning.

The Energy Dept. will be releasing oil inventories at 10:30 this morning.

European markets are trading to the upside this morning. In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 ended the day lower.

Reports are out that the United States is considering more troops in Baghdad.

Tropical Storm Paul expected to bring big rains to the southern part of Baja.

Amazon.com very active in after hours trading last night. The companies sales came in higher than expectations.

General Motors looks to have beat earnings expectations for the latest quarter.

Countrwide Financial Corp. to cut as many as 2,500 jobs.

The St Louis Cardinals took a 2-1 game lead in the World Series last night by defeating the Detroit Tigers 5-0.

Crude oil is back above $59.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $1.53 per gallon.

Natural gas is just below $7.00 per unit.

Gold at $584.00 per ounce.
