  • KFC has opened its first restaurant in Vietnam. Plans more openings in the future.
  • Sanyo and Nokia have dropped plans for a mobile phone venture.
  • House committee approves offshore drilling plan. The legislation would also allow states to stop drilling close to their coastlines.
  • Crude oil back up to $70.95 per barrel.
  • Wholesale gasoline is $2.08 per gallon.
