Morning News

  • Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.
  • Quarterly GDP data to be released at 8:30 this morning.Consumer Sentiment , and Chicago PMI also on tap for release today.
  • Microsoft Corp. profit up for the quarter, but forcast for for current fiscal quarter and year to be below expectations.
  • Yesterday Ben Bernanke spoke and again hinted to at least a pause in rate increases in the future.
  • Elan Corp. announcing that a committe of the European Medical Agency has issued a possitive opinion for the drug Tysabri.
  • Chevron Corp. and Petronas Carigali win exploration rights for offshore oil block in Vietnam.
  • Crude Oil continues to pull back current price is $70.67 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline has also pulled back a bit to $2.05 per gallon.
  • Natural gas currently $6.80 per unit.
  • Gold up just a bit here current price is $640.40 per ounce.
