  • Astrazeneca's drug Crestor has passed a scientific trial. The drug shows it can reverse plaque build up in patients arteries.
  • Knight Ridder announcing McClatchy has won the auction for the company with a bid of $6.5 billion or just over $67.00 per share.
  • U.S. Agriculture Dept. looking into a possible new case of mad cow.
  • Crude Oil is $59.63 per barrel.
  • Wholesale Gasoline is $1.67 per gallon.
  • Natural Gas currently $6.79 per unit.
  • Gold up a bit this morning to $545.70 per ounce.
