Morning News

  • Futures are weak after yesterday's gains pointing to a lower open.
  • Final Q1 GDP report today before the open at 8:30am.
  • June Agricultural Prices out this afternoon at 3pm.
  • Watch those Oil Inventories today due out at 10:30 am
  • DiamlerChrysler (DCX) set to match General Motors (GM) employee discount promotion if GM extends the program through July.
  • American International Group (AIG) reported after the bell yesterday first quarter income up over 40% while revenues also up over 15%.
  • Richard Scrushy Health South's former chairman and chief executive found not guilty of all charges yesterday in one of the biggest corporate fraud cases to date.
  • Citigroup (C) fined $25 million yesterday by the U.K. Financial Services Authority for failure to conduct it's business properly.
  • Crude Oil lower this morning just below $58.00 per barrel.
  • Also a little slide in Gold currently $436.00 per ounce.
