Morning News

  • Futures look good this morning pointing to a higher open.
  • Circuit City (CC) will be reporting before the open this morning.
  • Bank of America (BAC) to buy 9% stake in China Construction Bank.
  • A Food and Drug advisory committee has voted to recommend Nitro Med's (NTMD) cardiac drug BIDIL to be approved to treat heart failure in African American patients.
  • Biogen (BIIB) to sell a Californian plant to Genentech (DNA) . The deal worth $ 408 million, Genentech will use the facility to produce it's popular drug Avastin.
  • Sirius Satellite Radio (SIRI) and XM Satellite Radio (XMSR) both recieve licensing to conduct business in Canada.
  • Crude oil continues to rise the price of a barrel now over $57.00
  • Gold has also been doing well now trading at $439.00 per ounce.
