Morning News

  • Futures are flat pointing to a slightly higher open.
  • May Housing Starts today at 8:30 am.
  • Weekly Jobless Claims also today at 8:30 am.
  • Pfizer Inc. (PFE) has agreed to purchase Vicuron Pharmaceuticals Inc. (MICU) for 1.9 billion.
  • Boeing (BA) has recieved two more contracts for roughly 50 of the companies aircraft deals are reportedly worth 3.5 billion.
  • Crude Oil spiked up yesterday to over $56.50 per barrel, currently oil futures are $55.60 per barrel down 1 dollar from yesterday's highs.
  • Gold has also been trading higher now just over $433.00 per ounce.
