The ISM Manufacturing Index and Personal Income numbers are in store for investors on the first trading day of March, 2010. Several key earnings releases will also add to the market's buffet. Stocks were tossed about today by conflicting economic and company signals. AIG posted a monster loss while the GDP and Business Activity expanded. Poor Home Sales figures combined with business stopping snow fall in the Northeast was not enough to prevent a positive close on the day. The DJIA eked out a gain of 4.23, the tech heavy Nasdaq pushed higher by 4.04 and the S&P 500 advanced 1.56.
