Anticipation is running high for the FOMC statement tomorrow and midweek brings us another monster slate of earning reports. Despite a solid morning rally, stocks sold off closing lower on the session. Positive results from the consumer confidence front and housing numbers did not provide enough momentum to stop the selling. The DJIA fell 2.57, the Nasdaq gave back 7.07 and the S&P 500 dipped 4.61.
