Stocks bravely pushed higher today despite dire consumer confidence figures and a wider than expected trade gap. Fuelled by positive earnings reports, stocks shrugged off the negative data. Equities ended the session nicely in positive territory creating the second straight week of gains. The DJIA gained 73.00, the tech heavy Nasdaq expanded to 18.86, and the broad based S&P 500 added 6.24.

Here are 7 stocks you need to know for Monday.

Lowe's Companies (LOW | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) has forecast fiscal third quarter 2010 earnings of 24 cents prior to the opening bell.
