T-Mobile introduced the first mobile phone that runs on Android, software created by Google Inc. (GOOG | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), on Tuesday.

Down more than 7% on the day, General Motors (GM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) was the biggest loser in the Dow industrials on a percentage basis.

Reporting earnings Wednesday morning after the market opens, Nike Inc. (NKE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) is expected to announce quarterly earnings of 0.92.

Predictions of a slow holiday shopping season encouraged traders to sell shares of Amazon.com (AMZN | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), which was down more than 3% on Tuesday.
