Morning News

Futures are pointing to a lower open this morning.

European markets are trading lower so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Friday's action saw the Dow tack on 228 points, the Nasdaq added 61 points, the S&P closed 24 points higher.

Bank of America reports a 77% drop in in first quarter earnings.

Eli Lilly first quarter earnings up on diabetes treatments.

Merck & Company out with what looks like better than expected results.

Boeing saying they are not aware of any other delays with the Dreamliner.

The Lundberg Survey shows a rise on average of 16 cents a gallon for gasoline over the past two weeks.

In Sports over the weekend Danica Patrick became the first female to win a IndyCar race over in Japan.

Crude oil is sitting at $117.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.99 per gallon.

Natural gas is $10.68 per unit.

Gold is $922.00 per ounce.
