Morning News

Futures are pointing to a slightly higher open at this point in the morning.

European markets are mixed so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

March producer prices will be released this morning.

NAHB housing market index set for release today.

April empire state index will be released.

Yesterday's action saw the Dow lose 23 points, the Nasdaq gave back 14 points, and the S&P closed 4 points higher.

Delta and Northwest agree to $17.7 billion dollar merger.

MGM Mirage to cut 400 middle management jobs.

Foreclosures up just about 60% for the month of March vs. one year ago.

Today is Tax Day !!

Crude oil is now $112.80 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is up to $2.84 per gallon.

Natural gas is sitting at $10.17 per unit.

Gold is $936.00 per ounce.
