Morning News

Futures are pointing to a slightly lower open at this point in the morning.

European markets are trading lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did close just a bit lower.

Crude oil is $102.50 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.69 per gallon.

Natural gas is $9.47 per unit.

Gold back up to $947.00 per ounce.

New home sales data for the month of February will be released this morning.

Durable goods orders set to be released before the open this morning.

Yesterday's action saw the Dow close 16 points lower, the Nasdaq added 14 points, and the S&P finished 3 points higher.

Deal for private equity groups to buy Clear Channel reportedly falling apart.

Deutsch Bank reportedly may not reach its profit goal.

Ford expected to announce sale of Jaguar and Land Rover to Tata Motors.
