Morning News

Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly higher open this morning.

European markets are trading lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Yesterday's action saw the Dow drop 142 points, the Nasdaq lost 27 points, and the S&P gave back 17 points.

Crude oil sitting just above $99.00 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.53 per gallon.

Natural gas is sitting at $8.86 per unit.

Gold is currently $950.00 per ounce.

Motorola names Paul Liska new Chief Financial Officer.

Express Scripts out with quarterly results which topped expectations.

MBIA Inc. to drop out of bond insurance trade group.
