Morning News

Futures are pointing to a slightly higher open at this point in the morning.

European markets are trading higher today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end higher.

Crude oil is $91.53 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.33 per gallon.

Natural gas is $8.10 per unit.

Gold sitting just below $930.00 per ounce.

December durable goods orders will be released at 8:30 this morning.

Consumer confidence will be out at 10:00 this morning.

Yesterday's action has the Dow gain 176 points, the Nasdaq ended 23 points higher, and the S&P also added 23 points.

President Bush delivered his last State of the Union Address last night talking about the war and the economy.
