Morning News

Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly higher open this morning.

European markets are trading just a bit lower today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil is currently $96.13 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is $2.47 per gallon.

Natural gas is currently $7.32 per unit.

Gold is sitting at $837.00 per ounce.

Existing home sales will be released at 10:00 this morning.

Friday's action saw the Dow end 6 points higher, the Nasdaq 2 points lower, and the S&P up 2 points. For the year the Dow is up 7%, The nasdaq is up 11%, and the S&P is up about 4%

A report is out showing holiday online sales were up 19% this year.

Missouri becomes third state to mandate ethanol in gasoline.
