Morning News

Futures are pointing to a flat to slightly lower open this morning.

European markets are trading higher so far today.

In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 did end lower.

Crude oil is up to $95.52 per barrel.

Wholesale gasoline is sitting at $2.44 per gallon.

Natural gas is $7.00 per unit.

Gold has made up to $826.00 per ounce.

Weekly jobless claims will be out at 8:30 this morning.

November durable goods orders will also be out at 8:30 this am.

December consumer confidence set for release at 10:00 this morning.

Energy Dept. will release weekly oil inventories at 10:30 this am.

Yesterday the Dow added 2 points, the Nasdaq added 10 points, and the S&P finished 1 point higher.

Boeing and British Airways reach deal for 24 aircraft, and option to purchase more in the future.

Apple and Fox reach deal to sell movie downloads via iTunes.

A report is out that Sallie Mae will sell $2.5 billion in stock.

In sports the NFL has caved in and decided Saturday nights game between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants will be available onm NBC, and CBS.
